My name is Saul Robles. I am a former US bilingual teacher. In 2005 I founded the English Academy Washington in the mexican state of Nayarit. Since then, hundreds of students have finished our two-year ESL program (English as second language). The main purpose of the academy is not to make money but to teach English and to help our students to get better jobs and/or to open their own businesses. In 2014 the English Academy Washington moved from Ixtlan del Rio to Bucerias, Nayarit. We have all kinds of students; housekeepers, bartenders, lawyers, high school and college students, nurses, real estate agents, single mothers, teachers, etc. We are ready to start the 2023-2024 school year.
Lack of money is the main reason many of our students can not study English and that´s why we created our sponsorship program to help low income students to finish their studies.
HOW CAN YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW BE A SPONSOR?
By donating any amount to cover the cost of tuition for a month or the school year (ten months). COSTS: Monthly tuition $70.00 USD. You will have a chance to meet the student you sponsor or write via email (only if you want).
